On a rainy San Francisco day, I found a soaking wet abandoned chair on the street.
I took it home and after a bit of thinking I figured out which colors I wanted for it. After stripping off the old paint with sand paper, I gave it three coats of white paint and found a golden fabric for the seat.
It went through various steps, looking a little better every time, until it finally got upholstered and is now waiting for a matching desk in our guest bedroom.
